Alaska
is a sweet girl. She is a little talkative at times, very
stable and well behaved. She, like Chief and Storm, loves to
be petted. She is easy going but attentive. Her major goal in life seems to be to get more
attention than anyone else in our home.
Alaska
had a healthy litter of seven girls on December 18th, 2007 !
All her pups went to their forever homes in February 2008. At
this time we are not sure if we will breed Alaska again.

Chief
is our first Leonberger
and he is definitely the leader of this pack.
He just turned 7 in October 2007
but is still quite active. He is a little on the lean side for
a Leo – probably due to all the exercise he gets with
Alaska
and Storm.
He also likes to chase bears up trees and barks at them until he is called
away.
Chief
is also very affectionate and loving – as I have determined most
Leos are. He does occasionally get frustrated with
Alaska
and Storm
but just walks away as if to say " Kids ! ".

Storm
is Alaska's
brother. He is one big dog at 160 pounds ! He's
affectionate and loving. He has a tendency to be a macho dog,
keeping watch for any strangers coming into the yard. He is
good with other dogs and enjoys playing with our cat
Cleo.
Cleo
likes to play with
Storm's
tail while he sleeps. We are not sure if he likes it or
just doesn't feel it.
Storm
is neutered and thus is not a stud dog, even though he thinks he is.
Karl says
Storm is a
"Duh" dog – "Duh whatever". Whatever you want to do,
Storm
wants to do it too! |

Chief, Alaska, Storm,

Cleo make our
home homey.
We do vacuum a lot ! We live in an area that has
more sand than dirt and thus mud is not a problem. We do
however sweep up a lot of sand and hair on any given day.
