Welcome to Our Website Hello and thank you for stopping in today. We are excited to tell you about who we are, and most importantly, provide you with information about our wonderful dogs. Leonbergers are our love. We intend to keep you up to date on our planned breedings. You will be given full access to view photo galleries of each of our Leos. About Chequamegon Leos Our Leonbergers are home raised on the outskirts of the Chequamegon National Forest. We live in the town of Cable, Wisconsin on four acres with a small cabin business. Our Leos Chief, Alaska, Storm and Blaze are happy and healthy. They share in their favorite sport of chasing squirrels, the occasional bear and a variety of other northwoods creatures. So far they have all lacked the ability to catch anything however it does seem to keep them active and alert. Alaska and Storm are brother and sister from our first litter born in December 2004. Blaze is the daughter of Alaska. Our oldest Leo Chief was born in October 2000. Their pedigrees and health information can be found on the "Our Dogs" page. Announcements Alaska and Eykko had a healthy litter of seven beautiful girls born on December 18th, 2007 ! Chequamegon's "B" Litter Dam : Chequamegon's Alaska Sire : Ekkehard Lowe v. Walhall Click here for more details about Chequamegon Leos' "B" Litter. The puppies headed to their forever homes in mid February 2008. All except for one !
Our family has now grown to four wonderful leos. Blaze is the new addition to our family.
